1. “BODYWISE-BODY BLAST”  AM & PM CLASSES ADULT REBOUNDING ,  STRENGTH TRAINING, STABILITY BALL        

REBOUNDING is an aerobic exercise performed to awesome music on a MINI-TRAMPOLINE and it is one of the most effective, efficient, enjoyable exercises that can be performed by ADULTS of all ages.  Rebounding has been proven to be 87% more effective in burning calories than jogging.  It offers a less stressful means of reducing body fat and simultaneously firming body tissues.  Rebounding is the only exercise that detoxifies or rids your cells and organs of harmful toxins, while enhancing your immune system.  This unique cross-training class incorporates Rebounding, Strength training and Stability Ball work.  You need to bring your own ball.  Morning classes are held at Bodywise/PKA studio located at 76 Viaduct Rd.

Rebounding, Hooping & Yoga infused Pilates     Fee: $98PP/session – 1 class/week
Session I April 1 - May 12 (6wks)  Session II May 19 - Jun 16 (5wks $78)
 

2. DARIEN YWCA  NEW ADULT PROGRAM SPRING 2009 (Kings Highway)     

“BODYWISE-BODY BLAST”   ADULT REBOUNDING combined with RESISTANCE STRENGTH TRAINING & YOGA                                                       
 
This unique cross-training class incorporates:  REBOUNDING, for aerobic conditioning and detoxification, RESISTANCE BANDS for muscle toning & strength, abdominal work and other Functional fitness techniques then it ends with a YOGA stretch/cool down to  improve FLEXIBILITY.  These exercise segments, combined with Rebounding, will sculpt your body, firm and tone your buttock, thighs and abdominal area, strengthen your lower back, burn tons of calories, improve well-being & help reduce stress.  Dress for exercise wear sneakers.  You will need to bring a yoga mat, water bottle & towel         to class.

This is designed as a BEGINNER CLASS, but will quickly move to intermediate as you become more comfortable on the Rebounder and as your fitness level increases.
